This document sets out how the DukieWeb Service handles data which identifies you. You should read it in conjunction with the DukieWeb Terms and Conditions, of which this Privacy Policy forms part.
Your Information. Your required registration details provide the minimum data requirements for
you to make contact with past friends, and keep in contact with them.
These are namely - your name, your house, the year you joined the school, the year you left the school,
your email address, and optional notes about what you are doing now. They are available to you, and capable
of being changed, through the 'My Profile' page.
We do not ask for any sensitive data.
The DukieWeb Service will use the information provided by you for social purposes only.
These details are used to provide other users the chance to find you. The over-riding principle we apply is that
we will not supply your personal data to a third party for commercial exploitation.
On submission of the registrants form, you agree to accept these details will be stored in a database and your
details including your email address may be processed and displayed on the search page or List of Dukies page
by another user searching for you or another user with close matching details.
Opt-out Policy. You may have your registration details removed at any time. Contact us with your email address and we will remove all your details. You may also have your details changed at any time, using the 'My Profile' page.
We provide Members with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving e-mailed Forum Communications which they have previously opted to receive. This opt-out can be effected by making appropriate selections in the 'My Profile' page.
Links to third party sites. The DukieWeb site contains links to other sites. DukieWeb is not responsible for the privacy practices, or the content, of those web sites.
Cookies. We use small files known as "cookies" to enhance users' experience of the DukieWeb Service.
We use a temporary "session" cookie. These cookies disappear when the Member's browser session ends, or if the Member clicks the "Logout" text which appears on the DukieWeb Service.
